Our generation saw the rise of social media and watched it getting more and more involved into our everyday life. However, we also recall that our parents had different opinion with this new technology.

In order to figure out what tensions exist between the parents’ care-driven mediation and teens’ personal autonomy of social media. We conducted a 3 part research with 9 groups of parents and teens from different backgrounds.

Lastly, using 4 insights concluded from the research, our team brainstormed design proposals and summarized the entire process into a magazine.
